Yes — design and build are a one-time payment. The only ongoing costs are optional: web hosting (£2–£5/month) and a custom domain/email if you'd like us to register them, plus our £15/month maintenance plan if you want us to handle updates.

Most Basic and Medium sites go live within days once we receive your content. Business sites with maps, galleries and SEO typically take a little longer. We agree a deadline before we start — and we keep it.

Absolutely. Every site we make is mobile-friendly and responsive on any screen size and device — you never need a separate mobile version.

Every project includes a 1-month standard warranty covering malfunctions and errors. After that, our Update + Maintain plan (£15/mo) covers edits, backups, health checks and monitoring — your virtual IT department.

Yes. Our dedicated team handles ecommerce with realtime payment, job recruitment systems, sales POS & inventory, travel & hotel booking websites and more. Ask for a custom quote.

Payment is taken in advance via PayPal or local bank transfer (preferred) before design work begins, as set out in our Terms of Service. All quoted prices are guaranteed for the term indicated.

Since 2019 we've completed more than 300 websites and currently maintain 30+ — every one built with the same belief: affordable shouldn't mean amateur.

By placing an order with Best Design Hub UK, you confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions below.

01Definitions

The Client: the company or individual requesting services from Best Design Hub UK. Best Design Hub UK: primary designer/site owner, employees or affiliates. An "order" is a written or verbal contract between Best Design Hub UK and the client, including telephone and email agreements.

02General

Work is carried out only where an agreement or order is provided by email, telephone, mail or fax, and only for clients aged 18 or above. The client agrees to make available, as soon as reasonably possible, all materials required to complete the site to the agreed standard and within the set deadline.

03Website design

Whilst every endeavour is made to ensure websites and scripts are free of errors, Best Design Hub UK cannot accept responsibility for losses incurred due to malfunction. The website graphics and programming code remain the property of Best Design Hub UK until rights pass (see 08). We cannot accept responsibility for copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by the client, and reserve the right to refuse copyrighted material without proof of permission. Best Design Hub UK is not liable for costs, compensation or loss of earnings due to missed deadlines, site unavailability, or disputes between the client and their customers.

04Database, web application & ecommerce development

The ultimate responsibility lies with the client in ensuring all software functions correctly before use. Applications are developed on servers recommended by Best Design Hub UK unless agreed otherwise; where not, the client must provide the necessary server information and, for large applications, a suitable testing environment. The client is expected to fully test applications before general use; where issues are found after launch, we will endeavour (but are not obliged) to correct them to the standard outlined in the brief.

05Hosting & data transfer

We offer limited hosting via selected ISPs with great support and an annual average of 99% network availability. Monthly data transfer limits range from 10GB to 100GB depending on package; exceeding the limit throttles the connection and an upgrade is advised. No guarantees can be made as to uninterrupted availability, and Best Design Hub UK cannot accept liability for losses caused by unavailability or interruption of hosting services.

06Billing & payment of accounts

All accounts are pre-pay. We accept PayPal and local bank transfer (preferred). 100% advance payment is required before design work begins unless separately stated in a quotation. Outstanding accounts must be paid in full no later than 10 days from the invoice date unless by prior arrangement. If hosting/domain payment is 5 days overdue, the account is suspended. Following consistent non-payment, our solicitors may contact the client and seek payment through legal procedures if necessary.

07Refund policy

  • Domain names: strictly no refunds for purchase/transfer/renewal — these actions are non-reversible via our registrar API.
  • Web hosting: strictly no refunds for purchase/transfer/renewal.
  • Other services: any refund policy is subject to the terms stated in the quotation or invoice documents.

08Passing of rights

Once all amounts due are paid and cleared, you are assigned the rights to use the finished website (text, graphics, animation, audio and digital components) in accordance with these terms — but no rights of ownership are conveyed unless specifically stated. No rights pass until full payment; if an invoice is unpaid within 1 month, you agree that you forfeit your rights. Scripts, software, source code and all components remain our property unless specifically agreed. Rights to photographs, graphics and third-party items remain with their respective owners.

09Project handover & client responsibility

Once full access is given, it is the client's responsibility to keep credentials safe and advisable to keep your own backups. We keep one latest backup copy on the server; clients can opt for monthly backup services to prevent unwanted data loss.

10Warranty

A standard 1-month warranty applies to all projects after full access passes to the client; malfunctions arising in this period are fixed free of charge. The warranty is void if files are missing/deleted without known reason, modified by the client or a third party, access is shared with third parties, or through major misuse (e.g. vulnerable third-party plugins, newsletter spam). Clients subscribed to our monthly/quarterly/yearly maintenance services remain fully covered while the service is active.
